Imprinted Series
The Imprinted series uses drawing, printmaking, and staining techniques to investigate the relationship between human activity and bodies of water. For instance, human ideas about “value” and “waste” impact the conservation of the world’s water resources. The ways we extract and privatize water also define the terms of access to potable water. As a whole, the series points to the reflection we see in the water: on the surface of the water itself, we see our actions reflected at us.
