In the Age of Abundant Scarcity

In the Age of Abundant Scarcity features resin sculptures molded into the shape of water bottles, each filled with contaminants and debris I collected from Laguna Lake and Molawin River in Laguna, Philippines. It highlights the urgent issue of water scarcity and the reliance on informal water sources for daily needs. In the Philippines, water is abundant in the form of rainfall, flooding, and typhoons, yet access to potable water remains deeply precarious. There is both too much water and yet never enough.
