LUMINOSITIES

47 Women Artists Shine in Pintô Art Museum’s Latest Exhibition, “Luminosities”

Pintô Art Museum is delighted to present “Luminosities,” an exhibition featuring the creative brilliance of 47 women artists. This illuminating showcase is on display at Ilustrado 1 in Gallery 7 and welcomes art enthusiasts until Nov. 26.

Curated by Carlomar Arcangel Daoana, “Luminosities” testifies to the power and diversity of contemporary art. The featured artists bring a rich tapestry of themes, genres, styles, and media to the forefront. From figurative to abstract, from portraits to landscapes, from painting to sculpture to photography, the exhibition encompasses the full spectrum of artistic expression.

What unites these artists is their shared exploration of the subject of light. Light serves as the primary visual element, simultaneously tangible and ethereal, resonating across cultures worldwide. “Luminosities” delves into this universal concept, revealing how light can be both a practical material and a profound symbol.

This exhibition acts as a companion to “Opacities,” which opened in March earlier this year, focused on themes of darkness, blackness, and void. Together, these two exhibitions highlight the intricate interplay between light and dark, showcasing the profound and inseparable duality that exists within the world of art.

An Artists’ Reception will be held on Nov.12, Sunday, at 4 PM. We cordially invite everyone to join us in this special event and explore the radiant world of “Luminosities.”
