We Carry What Carries Us is an installation piece composed of hollow plaster casts of the plastic galon, the containers for water that are found virtually everywhere in the Philippines. Cast in plaster, a porous material that allows moisture to pass through its structure, the series of plaster galon mirrors the precarious reality of physically transporting potable water to one's home.
